Submit Your Music to The 13th Frequency
We are opening the gate for original heavy music from artists, bands, and labels around the world.
The 13th Frequency was built for music with weight, identity, and purpose. If you are an artist, band, or label creating original heavy music, we want to hear what you are building.
This station is not looking for covers, karaoke tracks, borrowed riffs, unofficial remixes, or anything that belongs to someone else. We are looking for original work from the people who made it, own it, and can give permission for it to be played.
If that sounds like you, the submission path starts here.
Original Music Only
Every submission must be original material. That means the person or group submitting the song must have the right to submit it, approve it, and allow it to be considered for rotation on The 13th Frequency.
We support underground and independent artists, but submitted music still has to meet a professional standard. Tracks should be well-recorded, in time, in key, properly performed, and strong enough to stand beside the rest of the station’s rotation. Every submission will be reviewed for originality, sound quality, performance, and overall fit.
What We Need From Artists
Before any track can be considered, we need enough information to know the music is yours to submit. That protects the station, the artist, and the listeners.
- Your artist or band name.
- The song title and release/project name, if applicable.
- A clean audio file or official streaming link.
- A short artist bio or project description.
- Artwork or promo image you have permission to use.
- Links to official artist, band, label, or social media pages showing the material is connected to you.
- Proof that you are the artist, writer, rights holder, label representative, or authorized person submitting the music.
Proof Matters
If the music is yours, prove the connection. That can include official band pages, social media posts, distributor metadata, copyright registration, label confirmation, release links, or other clear evidence that the submitted music is original material connected to you.
No Covers or Borrowed Material
Please do not submit covers, tribute versions, unauthorized remixes, uncleared samples, karaoke recordings, or songs using material you do not fully control. The 13th Frequency is for original work.
Rotation Is Curated
Submitting music does not guarantee airplay. Tracks are reviewed for fit, quality, originality, and station direction. If something feels right for the rotation, we will move it forward.
Global Exposure
The goal is to give original artists a place to be heard by listeners looking for music outside the usual lanes. This is about discovery, exposure, and building a darker independent music space.
About Rights, Royalties, and Permission
The 13th Frequency is an independent, donation-supported station. Artists who submit music should understand that this is a promotional exposure opportunity, not a paid placement or royalty-paying performance agreement.
Before any submitted music is added or considered for regular rotation, the submitting artist, band, label, or authorized representative will be required to agree to submission terms confirming that they have the right to submit the material and that they understand how the station operates.
Those terms are there to keep everything clean: original music, proper permission, no copyright surprises, and no confusion about payment, ownership, or authorization.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for finished, original heavy music with identity. That can mean metal, dark rock, doom weight, blackened vocals, underground drive, strange atmosphere, or songs that carry their own mark — but the track still has to be ready for listeners. Raw energy is welcome. Demo-level sound, sloppy timing, weak tuning, or unfinished production is not.
If your music sounds like it belongs in the underground, the woods, the desert, the ruins, the pit, the ritual, or the long drive home after midnight — and it is recorded well enough to stand in rotation — it may have a place here.
